Stipend and Benefits

The full-time internship positions are for twelve months, beginning approximately July 1st and ending June 30th. Each position carries a stipend of approximately $20,000 plus a package of medical benefits (worth approximately $1350). Full-time interns are eligible for 20 paid vacation days, five paid professional days, and seven University holidays.

Part-time internship positions are also available and are partially affiliated with the University of Rochester's Department of Clinical and Social Sciences. The part-time position is to be completed in two years, from July to mid-May each year, and requires three full days a week. These positions carry a stipend of $14,000.

Each intern has a private, furnished office equipped with their own phone with voicemail, a tape recorder, personal computer and ready access to a video camcorder. Each intern also has $100 available for expenses related to professional development (i.e., conference or workshop attendance).
