Healthy Monday @ UR
Healthy Monday @ UR is kicking off the spring semester on Monday, January 30th!! Stop at our table in Susan B. Anthony Residence Hall on your way to Danforth Dining Center and check us out. The Healthy Monday @ UR campaign encourages you to make your Monday a day to recommit to your health by setting goals, being active, and being mindful of your health (spiritually, emotionally, etc.). Each Monday follows a theme – Motivated Monday on the first Monday of the month, Move It Monday on the second, Meatless Monday on the third Monday, and Mellow Out Monday on the fourth Monday of each month. "Student Health 101" – Especially for UR students!!
Student Health 101 is a monthly online health and wellness magazine just for UR students. Each issue contains articles that will help you gain a better understanding of the health and wellness challenges that you face. See what UR students have to say about the topic of the month. You, too, could be interviewed by our own Campus Correspondent!! Each month you can enter the drawing on the site, and you could win $1,000.

Feel Fabulous in February
The UHS Health Promotion Office will kick off its annual Feel Fabulous in February on Monday, February 1 with dinner in Douglass Dining Center. Check out the Health Promotion Office Facebook page for events during the month. We will also put announcements in the Weekly Buzz. Like us on Facebook to keep up with the events.

Active Minds Film Series
The UHS Health Promotion Office, Active Minds, and the Cinema Group are collaborating to offer a new film series featuring films addressing various mental health issues. The first film, "America the Beautiful 2: The Thin Commandments, "will be shown on Thursday, March 1 during National Eating Disorders Week. The second film, "Charlie Bartlett," will be shown on Thursday, March 29. Each film will be followed by a panel discussion. For more information about Active Minds…

Flu Shots – It's not too late!
If you missed the UHS flu vaccine clinics, you can call UHS at 585-275-2662 to schedule an appointment to receive a flu shot. The Aetna Student Health insurance covers the cost of flu shots. The cost is $20 if not covered by health insurance.

Online Health Insurance Enrollment/Waiver Process
The online Health Insurance Enrollment/Waiver process is now open for students who are beginning full-time studies in January 2012. Click on "For Spring 2012" in the Quick Links box on the UHS home page. If you have questions about health insurance, please write to insurance@uhs.rochester.edu.

UHS is Accredited by AAAHC
The University Health Service is proud to announce it has achieved accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). Status as an accredited organization means the University Health Service has met nationally recognized standards for the provision of quality health care set by AAAHC. Almost 5,000 ambulatory health care organizations across the United States are accredited by AAAHC.

Questions about Aetna Student Health – Numbers to Call
If you are enrolled in the Aetna Student Health Plan and have questions about your benefits, the services not covered, your ID card, the pharmacy benefit, enrolling or waiving, or other concerns, we can help you decide which number to call. Check the list of phone numbers for help. Check the Aetna Student Health web site for more information about the insurance plan.
