When UHS Is Closed (UHS Locations & Hours)

Whenever the UHS offices are closed, a UHS physician is on-call and available by phone from home for urgent concerns that cannot wait until UHS re-opens. To contact the on-call physician after hours, call 275-2662 for instructions. In an emergency, dial 13 to reach Security if you are on campus. If you are off campus, dial 911. Check here for help deciding if your condition is urgent.

To Speak with A Nurse – By Phone

Patients can call the UHS Health Information Line (275-1160) to speak with a registered nurse about a health concern weekdays throughout the year.

You can expect a response from her or another UHS staff member, usually within one or two days. If you are writing on a weekend or holiday, your message will not be read until Monday.
