About Health Promotion Office
The UHS Health Promotion Office emphasizes awareness of current health issues, prevention of disease and illness, and promotion of health and wellness. The primary goal of the Health Promotion Office is to provide opportunities for members of the University of Rochester community to develop health-promoting skills and attitudes necessary to make responsible decisions about personal health and health care.
Our Office Location
We are located in 110 Anderson Tower. The Health Promotion Office is open weekdays throughout the year. Stop by and visit!

Joyce helps plan the annual wellness fair for Feel Fabulous in February, maintains UHS's inventory of health education brochures, and oversees the day-to-day operation of the office.

Linda specializes in helping students learn about the services available through UHS. She is the advisor for the UR Student Health Advisory Committee (URSHAC), works with students on independent study projects, and provides leadership and guidance to the staff of HPO. Linda is also the conference planner for the New York State College Health Association.

Nancy joined the UHS Health Promotion Office in 1999. Her area of expertise is alcohol & other drugs. She works closely with staff in the Dean of Students Office, the University Counseling Center, and Residential Life. She teaches the Peer Health Advocacy course (HLS 216/217) and coordinates the Social Host Training Program.
