Purchasing Over-The-Counter (OTC) Medications

With so many medications to choose from when you have a cold or flu, choosing the best product can be tough. Most cold symptoms can be relieved with over-the-counter (OTC) medications. Many medications you may need can be purchased from the University Health Service (UHS). There are also several other locations on and off campus where OTC medications can be purchased. At UHS, you can pay by check or charge the cost to your tuition bill.

Purchasing medications at the University of Rochester

UHs Office Locations

• Medical Center Office - Located in Room 1-2315 in the UR Medical Center (near the main lobby of Strong Memorial Hospital).
• River Campus Office - Located on the River Campus in the Susan B. Anthony Residence Hall, 1st floor of Morgan Wing. (There is a vending machine for the purchase of over-the-counter medicines outside this office.)
• Eastman School Office - Located in Room 106 in the Eastman Student Living Center.

Barnes & Noble Bookstores - Located in the Medical Center and on the River Campus.

Common Market - Located on the 1st floor of Wilson Commons on the River Campus.
