Active Minds is a student-run mental health awareness, education, and advocacy organization on college campuses. Our goal is to promote awareness and education to remove the stigma that surrounds mental illness, and to create an open environment for discussion of mental health issues. Active Minds, Inc. is a non-profit organization headquartered in Washington, D.C. The University of Rochester chapter of Active Minds was formed in fall 2008. The group meets weekly during the academic year.
