HPV Vaccine Clinics

The University Health Service (UHS) will be holding three HPV Vaccine Clinics during the Spring 2018 semester. All of the clinics will be by appointment. Please call UHS at 585-275-2662 to schedule an appointment to receive the HPV vaccine. The cost of the vaccine is covered by the UR Student Health Insurance Plan (Aetna). If you are on another insurance plan, we ask that you call your insurance company to verify coverage of the vaccine. When you come to a UHS HPV vaccine clinic, please bring your insurance card with you.

The dates and times for the clinics are:

Monday, February 26

  • Call 585-275-2662 to schedule an appointment.
  • Appointments will be scheduled starting at 5:00 p.m.
  • Up to 50 students will be seen at this clinic.
  • You will be able to receive Dose 1, 2, or 3 at this clinic.

Sunday, March 25 – THIS CLINIC IS FULL.

  • This clinic is for students who received Dose 2 in November 2017.
  • Appointments have been scheduled for students who are due for Dose 3.
  • If you received Dose 2 at the November clinic, you will receive a text reminder with your appointment time a few days before this clinic.
  • Call UHS at 585-275-2662 if you are unable to keep your appointment time.

Monday, April 9

  • Call 585-275-2662 to schedule an appointment.
  • Appointments will be scheduled starting at 5:00 p.m.
  • Up to 50 students will be seen at this clinic.
  • You will be able to receive Dose 1, 2, or 3 at this clinic.

 

Learn about HPV and the HPV Vaccine – Tuesday, Feb. 20

The UHS Health Promotion Office will be hosting a talk about HPV and the HPV vaccine on Tuesday, February 20 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in Dewey 1-101. This program will be presented by Dr. Cynthia Rand and Dr. Brent DuBeshter, faculty members from the UR Medical Center. This presentation is open to all students.
