Week #4: Mellow-Out Monday
Got stress? Find ways to manage your stress and clear your mind during our Mellow-Out Mondays! Throughout the spring semester, we will have programs and activities to help you wind down during the fourth week of every month.
Ongoing Events:
We invite you to join these activities to help you manage stress and clear your mind:
- Hatha Yoga class, sponsored by the Hatha Yoga Club on campus. Hatha Yoga is a system of physical poses and breathing exercises with a meditative focus that have the effect of enhancing one's well-being and experience of life. Yoga integrates all aspects of one's being: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Look for information in the fall when Healthy Monday @ UR swings back into action.
- Silent Meditation. Stop by the Gandhi Reading Room in the Rush Rhees Library Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from 12:00-12:30 for silent meditation. Bring your own cushion or use one of the available chairs. Write to sblaylock@library.rochester.edu for any questions or for more information.
