Pharmacy Discount Program –
Through Monroe County
All UR students can now take advantage of a prescription drug discount card plan offered by Monroe County. This prescription drug discount card is available to all students at no cost.
For information, check www.monroecounty.gov. Click on “Prescription Discount Plan” under the heading “On-Line Forms.” You can enroll at any time during the year. The discount card cannot be used for purchasing medications at UHS.
The prescription drug card cannot be used to purchase prescription medications sold at UHS offices. Students who choose to purchase medications from UHS can usually purchase them at a lower cost than is available using the prescription drug card. UHS stocks approximately fifty of the most commonly needed prescription medications for students.
The prescription card offered previously through Chickering/Aetna is no longer available.
