A Note About ValuMed Insurance
In previous years, we have provided information about ValuMed, a lower cost and much lower benefit health insurance option available in the Rochester area. If you are considering this insurance, check the benefits and exclusions carefully. It is our opinion that ValuMed does not provide adequate coverage for the medical care needs of students and their families; however, we recognize that ValuMed provides a more affordable option for some students with families.
