Faculty Special Interest Group (SIG):
The UR Student configuration and design is being reviewed by all select SIG members within Student Records, Advising, and Student Finance areas. Our newly established Faculty Special Interest Group will be reviewing UR Student features of interest for their feedback. If you would like to become a member of this group, please contact us.
Faculty Change Areas:
Prepare for a new way to view student rosters, assign course grades and view teaching schedules for current and past periods. Each area below highlights upcoming changes to faculty procedures based on the UR Student design. More information can be accessed below as features are designed and tested.

Q: Where will I enter grades after the system goes live in July 2019?
A: Final grades will be entered into UR Student. With respect to grading, both Blackboard and UR Student will run in parallel for a period of time.
Q: To what extent can student communicate with faculty and department administrators?
A: This will depend on the feedback we hear from each school representative from each SIG team. As this is designed, the UR Student team will communicate and demonstrate at Demo Days how best to use this feature. Stay tuned to UR Student News for future feature developments.
