Join

The Special Interest Groups for Learning Science and Advanced Technologies for Learning are officially two separate groups. The overlap in the groups' purpose and research interests has been so large and mutually beneficial that for the past few years the two groups have functioned jointly. Many current members choose to join both SIGs, however prospective members may join only one of the two groups if preferred.

Registered members of the AERA can join SIG-Learning Scienceand/or SIG-Advanced Technology for Learning by submitting a SIG Membership Form to the AERA headquarters, or by logging into their account at the AERA MemberNet Web site. Complete information about joining any SIG can be found on the SIG site . Please note that SIG-ATL is number 7, and SIG-EST is number 39, on the AERA SIG Membership Form.

Dues for membership are currently $10 per SIG per year for students and professionals/practitioners.

Listserv Information

Information about the Learning Sciences and Advanced Technologies for Learning SIGs are posted to a joint listserv.
