Minutes from WGSA meeting on April 28, 2005:

Old Business
Graduation Celebration: May 12 th 7pm @ AMF Bowling in Scottsville – Colleen will confirm and develop details to distribute. (Back up plan is another restaurant, but the same time and date would apply.)

There will be Openings for WGSA Council in the Fall. The first meeting of the Fall semester will address filled and open positions. New Attendees who are considering openings include: Will Huynh, Honora Mosman, and Al Schademan.

New Business
1. We need to plan for the Warner Conference

2. Treasurer’s report was accepted from Laura

Suggestions and Issues:

1. Advisors – The availability of advisors was raised. Council advised individuals to email and phone call professors directly to resolve specific issues.

2. Communication among Warner students is a great need. The possibility of creating a web board to contact fellow Warner Students through WebCT or another database was discussed. This option needs to be explored further in the fall.

3. Warner School Apparel – Colleen addressed the process and apparel should be available this fall, hopefully.
