Educational Leadership Master's Degrees


The Warner School offers master's degrees in School Administration, Educational Policy, and Higher Education to prepare educators for leadership positions in schools, post-secondary institutions, government agencies, and organizations that work with and for colleges and universities.

Students who wish to pursue New York State Certification in school administration have the following options

  • New York State School Building Leader Certification, which enables educators to assume administrative positions at the building level--such as curriculum specialist/ leader, assistant principal, or principal in an elementary and secondary school.
  • New York State School District Leader Certification, which enables teachers and building-level administrators to qualify for positions at the district level--such as assistant superintendent for instruction, human resources director or superintendent.

For those interested in educational administration in Higher Education, Warner offers a a flexible program in administration. There are also special programs for Catholic School administrators and other private schools.
