Teaching & Curriculum

Warner's Teaching & Curriculum programs are designed to provide the tools practitioners and researchers need to be knowledgeable, reflective, and caring educators. Underlying the Teaching & Curriculum program’s approach is its commitment to social justice and to understanding and eliminating social inequity. Warner educators are empowered to become leaders in the struggle to make schools just and nurturing environments.

At Warner, theory and practice are deeply and inseparably intertwined. The active participation of Teaching & Curriculum faculty members in school-based research and reform projects, and the deepening portfolio of their sponsored-research projects, provides our students with interesting opportunities for research and reform leadership. Through research projects, courses, and field experiences, Warner graduates develop an understanding of theory and practice that prepares them to be agents of change.
