Preparing Entry-Level Mathematics Teachers

What kind of educator do you want to be?
Warner is committed to preparing mathematics teachers who understand that learning mathematics is more than just memorizing facts and operations. Our students are familiar with best practices and curricula for successfully teaching mathematics. We help teachers develop an approach to teaching mathematics that is grounded in knowledge of the research, theory, issues and trends influencing mathematics education. Warner programs encourage teachers to make mathematics meaningful and relevant to students, while promoting classroom environments that promote social justice and equity.

The Warner School's programs are flexible to accommodate the interests of individual students. Through coursework, field experiences, and projects, programs can be tailored to focus on a specific certification area or multiple areas.
