3 Easy Steps to Complete Your 2018 Open Enrollment

Review your health, dental, and life insurance benefit options
Use the Alex Tool and other resources listed below to help you decide which plans are right for you.
- Choose your plans
Beginning November 1st, log into HRMS to make your Health, Dental, and Flexible Spending Account (FSA)/Health Savings Account (HSA) elections for 2018, and use the Securian link to make your life insurance elections for 2018.
- Watch for your confirmation statement in December
You will receive this by mail.
Which Plan is Right for Me?
2018 ALEX Tool
An interactive benefits tool that will guide you through the benefit plan selection process, explaining terminology and plan differences, comparing costs, etc. Four "plans" are displayed for illustrative purposes, however, the two versions of the HSA plan & the two versions of the PPO plan are each identical.

Life Insurance Transfer Form
Transfer your current amount of insurance (Group Universal Life [GUL] rates have decreased significantly, and you have the option to transfer your Group Optional Term Life [GOTL] to GUL) using the Life Insurance Transfer Form.
Enrolling in Benefits at Home
To log in to HRMS from computers not connected to the University network, you must be enrolled in Duo two-factor authentication. Use your NetID and password to enroll in Duo for HRMS. As soon as you are enrolled, two-factor authentication will be active. Contact the IT Help Desk at 275-2000 with any questions.
