August 3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Highlights from this week on Three Percent:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We raved about the ever-fascinating <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ubu.com\/\">UbuWeb<\/a>, especially <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/College\/translation\/threepercent\/index.php?id=108\">UbuWeb Radio<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/College\/translation\/threepercent\/index.php?id=109\">Dali<\/a> movie homage to Raymond Roussel;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>One of my all-time favorite TV shows is <i>Lost<\/i>, and I gleefully fed my favorite addiction by posting the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/College\/translation\/threepercent\/index.php?id=111\">Dharma video<\/a>, which first aired appeared at ComicCon;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>A couple reviews (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/College\/translation\/threepercent\/index.php?id=118\"><i>Village Voice<\/i><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/College\/translation\/threepercent\/index.php?id=128\"><i>New Yorker<\/i><\/a>)  of Robert Walser&#8217;s <i>The Assistant<\/i> appeared this week;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>And we posted our own reviews of Simenon&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/College\/translation\/threepercent\/index.php?id=114\"><i>The Engagement<\/i><\/a> and Monzo&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/College\/translation\/threepercent\/index.php?id=148;\"><i>The Enormity of the Tragedy<\/i><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Issue 9 of <i>Literal<\/i> went <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/College\/translation\/threepercent\/index.php?id=139\">online<\/a>, as did excerpts from issue 4 of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/College\/translation\/threepercent\/index.php?id=146\"><i>A Public Space<\/i><\/a>, and the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/College\/translation\/threepercent\/index.php?id=156;\"><i>Believer<\/i><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/College\/translation\/threepercent\/index.php?id=141\">Charles Simic<\/a> was named poet laureate;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><i>The Guardian<\/i> continued its world tour in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/College\/translation\/threepercent\/index.php?id=142;\">Ireland<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>and last, but definitely entertaining, Robert Olen Butler sent out a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/College\/translation\/threepercent\/index.php?id=144\">cry for help<\/a> to everyone that wasn&#8217;t about the difficulties his wife has living in his impressive, Pulitzer-winning shadow.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Highlights from this week on Three Percent: We raved about the ever-fascinating UbuWeb, especially UbuWeb Radio and the Dali movie homage to Raymond Roussel;
