The final book of Javier Mar\u00eda’s trilogy has at long last been published. Veneno y sombra y adios<\/i> is the third and lengthy book of Tu Rostro Ma\u00f1ana<\/i>. At over 700 pages, this final volume completes the series that is close to nine years in the making.<\/p>\n
While the book is certainly being publicized as Mar\u00eda’s great work, see the promotion at Alfaguara<\/a>, reviewers and bloggers aren’t as sure. At elconfidencial.com<\/a> , one blogger is somewhat dissatisfied with the book\u2019s “sensation of excess and of insufficient construction”. He writes, <\/p>\n Si bien Tu rostro ma\u00f1ana<\/i> se publicita como la obra maestra de Javier Mar\u00edas y \u00e9l mismo ha llegado a considerarla definitiva— en el sentido que quiz\u00e1 ya no escriba m\u00e1s ficci\u00f3n, esperemos que se retracte—, no es el mejor Mar\u00edas . . .
