{"id":274276,"date":"2009-10-09T16:54:47","date_gmt":"2009-10-09T16:54:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wdev.rochester.edu\/College\/translation\/threepercent-dev\/2009\/10\/09\/2010-sls-unified-literary-contest\/"},"modified":"2018-04-16T17:15:23","modified_gmt":"2018-04-16T17:15:23","slug":"2010-sls-unified-literary-contest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/College\/translation\/threepercent\/2009\/10\/09\/2010-sls-unified-literary-contest\/","title":{"rendered":"2010 SLS Unified Literary Contest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For anyone interested in attending one of next year&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/sumlitsem.org\/lithuania\/program.html\">Summer Literary Seminars<\/a> &#8212; which will take place in ontreal, Quebec (June 13 &#8211; 27); Vilnius, Lithuania (August 1 &#8211; 14); and Nairobi-Lamu, Kenya (December) &#8212; you might be interested in entering the <a href=\"http:\/\/sumlitsem.org\/lithuania\/contest.html\">Unified Literary Contest<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Held in affiliation with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fenceportal.org\/\"><em>Fence<\/em> Magazine<\/a> this year&#8217;s contest will be judged by Mary Jo Bang (poetry) and Mary Gaitskill (fiction) and the winners in each category will have their work published in <em>Fence<\/em> (and journals in the respective <span class=\"caps\">SLS<\/span> countries) and will receive paid airfare, tuition, and housing costs to any one of the three <span class=\"caps\">SLS<\/span> programs.
