Here&#8217;s the official details:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Celebrate &#8220;make believe&#8220;\u2014and writers who make us believe in the worlds of their own creation\u2014with <span class=\"caps\">PEN<\/span> America, the award-winning literary magazine published by <span class=\"caps\">PEN<\/span> American Center. Join recent contributors including Cynthia Cruz, Said Sayrafiezadeh, and Lynne Tillman to toast the newest issue, &#8220;Make Believe.&#8221; <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Paul Auster and Roxana Robinson will read.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Date: Monday, October 26, 2009<br \/>\nTime: 6:30pm &#8211; 8:30pm<br \/>\nLocation: Le Poisson Rouge, 158 Bleecker Street, New York, NY<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span class=\"caps\">FREE<\/span> with cash bar<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The issue sounds pretty interesting:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>What do you believe? <em><span class=\"caps\">PEN<\/span> America 11: Make Believe<\/em> examines&#8212;through fiction, poetry, drama, essays, and conversations&#8212;the question of belief in all (or many) of its forms. Alesksandar Hemon, Cynthia Ozick, Lynne Tillman, and others imagine books they wish they (or someone else) had written; Sigrid Nunez invents an orphanage full of \u201crapture children\u201d; and Rivka Galchen pretends to be Lydia Davis and Peter Altenberg.
