Since I don&#8217;t really care who wins (although I hope for our sake it&#8217;s Dubravka Ugresic, and I really hope Philip Roth <em>doesn&#8217;t<\/em> win), I just want to focus on the betting. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sports.ladbrokes.com\/en-gb\/Awards\/Nobel-Literature-PrizeAwards\/Nobel-Literature-Prize-t210003519\">Ladbrokes<\/a> is the main betting place, and here are the current odds for the top five and some select other listings:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Adonis 4\/1<br \/>\nTomas Transtromer 6\/1<br \/>\nHaruki Murakami 8\/1<br \/>\nPeter Nadas 10\/1<br \/>\nAssia Djebar 12\/1<br \/>\nThomas Pynchon 16\/1<br \/>\nPhilip Roth\t25\/1<br \/>\nAntonio Lobo Antunes 25\/1<br \/>\nAdam Zagajewski 33\/1<br \/>\nSalman Rushdie 50\/1<br \/>\nJavier Marias 50\/1<br \/>\nElias Khoury 50\/1<br \/>\nBob Dylan 50\/1<br \/>\nPer Petterson 80\/1<br \/>\nJonathan Littell 80\/1<br \/>\nWilliam Gass 80\/1<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The authors with the top entries are <em>always<\/em> at the top right about this time, and the winner always seems to come out of nowhere.
