This morning, PEN<\/span> America announced the winners of all its literary awards, including two for literature in translation: the PEN<\/span> Translation Prize for a book-length translation of prose into English, which was won by BTBA<\/span> judge Tess Lewis for her translation of Angel of Oblivion<\/em> by Maja Haderlap, and the PEN<\/span> Award for Poetry in Translation, which was won by Simon Armitage for translating Pearl: A New Verse Translation<\/em><\/a> from Middle English. <\/p>\n

Additionally, the PEN<\/span> Heim Awards were handed out to fifteen translators for a wide variety of projects:<\/p>\n

Felix Austria<\/em> by Sophia Andrukhovych, translated from the Ukrainian by Vitaly Chernetsky <\/p>\n

Mr.<\/em> by Raoul Schrott, translated from the German by Iain Galbraith<\/p>\n

Edinburgh Notebook<\/em> by Valerie Mejer Caso, translated from the Spanish by Michelle Gil-Montero<\/p>\n

The Remainder<\/em> by Alia Trabucco Zer\u00e1n, translated from the Spanish by Sophie Hughes <\/p>\n
