The budget office is responsible for developing, overseeing, and managing the university’s consolidated Operating and Capital budgets. The office is also responsible for the day-to-day financial management of central administrative departments.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities Include<\/h4>\n

– Consolidate and maintain the integrity of the Univerity Budget<\/p>\n

– Prepare and shepherd the consolidated budget through Board approvals<\/p>\n

– Oversight and calculation of funds to be distributed from the endowment in line with policy<\/p>\n

– Support central administration in the development and management of their operating and capital budgets<\/p>\n

A budget is an estimation of revenue and expenses over a specified future period of time and is usually compiled and re-evaluated on a periodic basis. Budgets can be made for a person, a group of people, a business, a government, or just about anything else that makes and spends money.<\/p>\n
