The Financial Systems and Operations Support team is responsible for overseeing the financial systems of the University and approving of any enhancements or changes to the financial systems.\u00a0 The primary financial systems are UR Financials and UR Budget, however additional applications such as the Cognos Financial Data Warehouse, UR Gems, and part of the UR Procurement are managed by the team.\u00a0 In addition, Jim co-chairs the EA Governance \u2013 Finance committee which is responsible for recommending future financial system projects.<\/p>\n
The Financial Systems and Operations Support team is the also the functional steward for Workday and ensures that all configuration changes are tested and verified prior to being introduced into production.<\/p>\n
