Prior to obtaining access to the Procure to Pay system (UR Procurement), you will need to complete required training in MyPath. There are two training curriculum available and they are based on a role (Initiator: Creating requisitions and check requests (SIR); Approver: Approving requisitions and check requests (SIR) in UR Procurement.
Below is detailed information on the required training curriculum in MyPath.

To take the training, log into MyPath and type “P2P Curriculum” in the search bar. You will then see the two options below to select from. Select the training based on what your role will be.
P2P: Introduction to UR Procurement for Initiators
Welcome to Introduction to UR Procurement. The five modules provide an overview of buying and paying at the University of Rochester, the procure to pay (P2P) process and the UR Procurement system (Workday). Each module (see below) will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.

Welcome to Introduction to UR Procurement for Approvers. These modules provide an overview of buying and paying at the University of Rochester, the procure to pay process and the UR Procurement system (Workday). They explain how to view and act upon transactions waiting for your approval and share how to access detailed reference guides to assist with the process. Each module will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.

NOTE: As of Monday, June 8, a P2P Trainer will not be available for live instructor led training sessions and alternatives are being identified. In the interim, recorded instructor led sessions will be available and have been posted on this site.

P2P: UR Procurement Create Marketplace (SOLO) Requisition Class – This training provides an overview of the procure to pay (P2P) process and the UR Procurement system (Workday). Get hands-on practice entering requisitions for goods in the Marketplace (previously SOLO).

Creating a Supplier Invoice Request
MyPath P2P Advanced Class Training
Advanced P2P on-demand training classes are available in MyPath. The Create Receipt and Match Exception Overview class is required for everyone who is in the “Initiator” role. This should be completed after you are live in UR Procurement.
The Reporting and Analytics Class is optional. You can find these classes in MyPath by entering “P2P Advanced” in the search bar. Each module will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete
P2P Advanced: Create Receipt and Match Exception Overview – Required for Initiators
This module provides an overview of the match exception process in UR Procurement, the University of Rochester’s procurement and payment system. After completing this module, you will be able to review and resolve invoice match exceptions.
P2P Advanced: Reporting and Analytics Overview – Optional
The University of Rochester has several methods for making purchases (buying) and payments (paying). This module provides an overview of the reporting tools available in UR Procurement, the University of Rochester’s procurement and payment system. After completing this module, you will be able to run, view and export reports.
