Rick Bolden, a business analyst reporting to Senior Director of Advancement Information Martha Osowski, joined the team at the beginning of April. In this new position, he supports the OASIS project implementation as it progresses. Rick comes to the University with 15 years of experience in ERP project implementations and business analysis. Previously, he worked as a senior business analyst supporting the entire systems development life cycle in large corporate e-procurement and financial back-office environments. Rich earned his A.B. in computer data processing from Ohio Technical College in Cleveland and is an Oracle-certified financial applications consultant.

Dan Camenga has been appointed associate director of corporate relations. In this position, he will manage a portfolio of national and local corporate prospects with a focus on generating high-level corporate relationships and support for the University. Dan previously served as development director for the Housing Council in Monroe County Area, Inc., and director of development and public relations for Sonnenberg Gardens and Mansion State Historic Park. He holds a B.S. in landscape horticulture and M.S. in public horticulture from the University of Delaware. On June 10, he received his M.B.A. from the Simon School; he is completing the executive program where he is a recipient of the Greater Rochester Enterprise scholarship.

Mary Jo Ferr, who is approaching the 20th anniversary of her appointment at the University, has been named senior director of alumni relations. In this role, she will serve as Executive Director of Alumni Relations Kevin Wesley’s advisor and work closely with him on key University-wide alumni relations initiatives. Mary Jo was involved in creating many of the alumni programs we have today, such as reunion. She began her tenure as director of leadership giving and has served as director of reunions, director of the annual fund, and major gifts regional director for the southeast. She was director of the Sesquicentennial, a year-long celebration that culminated on campus in October 2000. Prior to her career at the University, she was director of development at Mercy High School and advertising sales manager for the Wolfe Newspaper group. Mary Jo earned her B.A. in English and journalism from Niagara University and M.A. in marketing and communications from St. Louis University.

Barbara Lacker-Ware has accepted a position of associate director in the University Annual Funds. Barbara will be responsible for the direct mail and telemarketing programs for the College, Warner School, Athletics, and the Library. Barbara brings a wealth of experience to the position, including annual giving experience at a number of different organizations. Her most recent position was overseeing the development effort at the Warner School.

Jennifer Montana has joined the team as administrative assistant for Golisano Children’s Hospital, where she helps coordinate board meetings and special events. Additionally, she prepares expense reports and reconciles the budget, among other responsibilities. She began her career at the University in 2005 providing administrative support at the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center. Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from SUNY Geneseo.

Jennifer Myszka is our new director of reunion and class programs. She will oversee management of College reunion classes and student and young-alumni programming. Her career at the University began in 2000 when she was appointed associate director of development for reunions. She also served as a regional director of annual giving. Since 2005, she has been associate director of alumni relations. Other professional experience includes her work as director of annual giving for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester. Jennifer earned her B.A. in English and communications from SUNY Geneseo, where she began her professional career in advancement, ultimately serving as director of annual giving.

Kelly Nuccitelli joined the team in early April. As assistant director of development in the School of Medicine and Dentistry (SMD), she focuses her efforts on restricted giving for SMD classes with class projects. Previously, she worked for Compendium Research Corporation (a software development company) in Fairport, New York, where she was director of marketing and project manager. Her past experience also includes doing development work for the business school at the Rochester Institute of Technology and various marketing positions with retail sales and advertising agencies. Kelly received her B.S. in marketing from SUNY Brockport.

Bonni Rheinwald has been appointed administrative assistant in the Office of Volunteer Management and Boards and will provide support to Polly Reeder, the office’s executive director. She began her career at the University in 2006 as an administrative assistant for College advancement and is now serving as interim administrative assistant to Rob Gibson, until Judy Shafer returns from medical leave. Bonni has over 20 years experience in providing administrative support to senior administrators in both profit and non-profit organizations. Immediately prior to joining the University community, she was secretary to the president of Rochester Rehabilitation Center, Inc. Bonni has taken courses at MCC and plans to earn a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration. She enjoys being a mentor for Women Helping Girls, a program of the Greater Rochester Branch of the American Association of University Women.

Mary Therese Sick became secretary to the Warner Graduate School of Education’s director of development on May 14. Before joining our team, she worked at Alfred University where she was assistant to the director of development and assistant to the director of grants and research in university relations. As a result, she brings to Rochester extensive experience in cultivation, solicitation of gifts, and alumni events. Mary attended the executive secretarial school at Alfred State College and studied accounting at Alfred University.
