Studio X

Experience, Explore, and Experiment

What we can do together

Together we can change the way we teach, learn, and conduct research. Your support will facilitate access to expertise and technology, robust programming and curricular integration, and high impact student engagement and research projects. Please consider supporting the following:

Spaces: These include the salon (the heart of Studio X), an innovation suite (reserved), a learning hub, collaboration rooms, and multiple staff and student workspaces.

Technology: Progress depends on making continued technological updates that allow us to stay current and provide robust programming, course integration, and research support.

Studio X internships: Undergraduate and graduate student internships provide distinct opportunities to develop coursework and pursue research projects with faculty.

Speaker series: Help us bring in innovators from academia, non-profits, and the XR industry to give lectures and workshops that introduce the community to cutting-edge XR research and technology.

Community-engaged grants: These will facilitate collaborative partnerships with the Rochester City School District and other community organizations so that we can host field trips, develop high school internships, create custom workshops, and more.

Studio X grants: These would fund student and faculty projects, conference experiences, summer research opportunities, and other programs.
