John Foxe, PhD, director of the Ernest J. Del Monte Institute for Neuroscience<\/a>, moved to Rochester from New York City because the University is a national powerhouse in the neurosciences. Today, Foxe leads teams of engineers, chemists, biologists, physicians, and neuroscientists to attack massive health problems like Alzheimer\u2019s disease, which will cost the U.S. economy more than $1.1 trillion by 2050.<\/p>\n
