Simon-AI-thon

1-Week Business & AI Problem-Solving Experience
Exclusive to Simon Students – Deadline for Registration is April 9th – Spots are limited!
The Simon Hackathon is an immersive, one-week innovation sprint where Simon students collaborate with a real company to tackle live business challenges using data, analytics, and AI. This is not a typical hackathon, itโs a high-impact consulting-style experience designed to mirror how modern organizations solve complex problems.
The Simon Hackathon brings together motivated Simon students, mentors, and an industry partner for an intensive, hands-on problem-solving experience.
Over the course of one week, student teams will:
-
Work directly with a partner company on a real business challenge
-
Apply AI, data analytics, and strategic thinking to develop solutions
-
Translate technical insights into actionable business recommendations
-
Present final solutions to company leaders and Simon faculty
This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment that blends business strategy, technology, and real-world impact.
-
Eligibility: Open exclusively to Simon students
-
Backgrounds Welcome: Business, analytics, finance, marketing, operations, and AI-related interests
-
Team-Based: Students will work in cross-functional teams to mirror real-world business environments – create teams that work! Teams must be 2+ but 5 max.
No prior hackathon experience required, just curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to learn.
