UNY NSF I-Corps Short Course @UR Wrap-Up

March 6, 2020 @ 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The NSF I-Corps Upstate New York (UNY) Node is offering a Short Course program for researchers interested in exploring the market potential of their work and learning entrepreneurial skills. Short Courses, geared toward doctoral candidates, post-docs and faculty, are offered at no cost to participants and consist of both in-person and remote meetings over a two-week period. If you work with a team, the whole team can participate in the Short Course. At the end of the program, teams will have conducted customer interviews, learned about the business model canvas, and will have clear plans for taking the next steps.

Short Course graduates will have the opportunity to be recommended for the NSF I-Corps National Teams program, which offers grant awards of up to $25,000. Previous NSF funding is NOT required to apply. The program is limited to 8 teams and will be taught by Matt Spielmann of the Ain Center and Dave Miller of the Warner School.

Apply online today!  Contact Matthew Spielmann, Sr. Program Manager at the Ain Center for Entrepreneurship, with questions.
