The EDA-sponsored University Center Economic Development Program is designed to leverage university resources to support economic development strategies in the greater Rochester region and to provide entrepreneurial training in rural communities in the Finger Lakes. Members of the University and Rochester communities can apply for modest grant funding and receive training to support a project focused on urban and/or rural growth in the local community.
The Ain Center for Entrepreneurship is designated as the Rochester region's only University Center by the Economic Development Administration (EDA) within the U.S. Department of Commerce.
