Overview

The University of Rochester Ain Center for Entrepreneurship offers a boot camp program designed for entrepreneurs, small business owners and aspiring small business owners in the greater Rochester community called “Buzz Lab: Four Saturdays for a Better Business.” This program is supported by a University Center grant from the Economic Development Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce.

A 5-week virtual workshop special edition of the Buzz Lab called Managing through Uncertainty will be offered during the Tuesday lunch hour from October 6 to November 3. This program is offered at no cost to participants. Register online.

In the fall of 2020, the Ain Center is partnering with the Arts in the Loop initiative to offer entrepreneurial training to visual and performing artists in the greater Rochester region. Starting on September 20 to October 25, workshops generally run on Sunday evenings and around the lunch hour on Wednesdays. All sessions will be available online until March 1, 2021, to all who register. Registrations will be accepted through the end of October. Register online.
