An RN at Strong Memorial Hospital, Karrah serves on the Rochester Academy of Medicine (ROAM) executive board. In 2014, she co-founded the UR chapter of Primary Care Progress (PCP). The national organization aims to revitalize the primary care system by mobilizing students across professions to lead, innovate, and advocate for improvements.
