Each year, the University receives a growing number of applications vying for coveted spots to join the incoming class\u2014making the process of selecting a new class incredibly rewarding\u2014but also much more challenging. The University looks to alumni and parents at every stage of the process to help.<\/p>\n

No one knows how special Rochester is more than you. You must be a graduate of the University or a parent of a current student to become a UR Involved volunteer. Help conduct alumni admissions interviews locally, around the country, and internationally. You don\u2019t have to know everything about the University in order to assist. Work with us as we expand our outreach efforts to prospective students, parents, and high school guidance counselors across the country at college fairs. When our Admissions staff cannot attend a fair event but recognize the importance of attending, we reach out to our volunteers. You only need to offer a few hours of your time, and your enthusiasm for Rochester\u2014we\u2019ll provide the rest.
