As the largest of the four Community Weekends\u2014with events held across all campuses\u2014Meliora Weekend relies on the support of hundreds of professional staff and dedicated volunteers. Student volunteers play a vital role in bringing the weekend to life by assisting with on-site registration and check-in, supporting events, and warmly welcoming the thousands who return to Rochester each year to celebrate!\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roles, Responsibilities, and Values<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n  <li>\n    Student volunteers must help with at least two shifts (averaging 3-5 hours\n    total) during the weekend.\n  <\/li>\n  <li>\n    Volunteers should be organized, punctual, able to stand for the duration of\n    their shift, and can work with large groups of people for extended periods\n    of time.\n  <\/li>\n  <li>Potential volunteer roles include:<\/li>\n  <ul>\n    <li>Greeting and checking-in guests at on-site registration.<\/li>\n    <li>Greeting and scanning guests at individual events.<\/li>\n    <li>\n      Dropping off and\/or picking up floral arrangements or event signage.\n    <\/li>\n    <li>Monitoring tent entrances.<\/li>\n    <li>Assisting with kid-friendly activities.<\/li>\n  <\/ul>\n  <li>\n    Most importantly, Meliora Weekend is about having fun and connecting with\n    the greater University of Rochester community, so we are looking
