University of Rochester students work with, and are trained by, professors who are committed teachers as well as acclaimed researchers. Our unique academic programs, fostering interaction between researchers and students, draw national attention.
The distinctive Rochester Curriculum - comprising majors, minors, and “clusters” of thematically linked courses - produces students well versed in a variety of subjects. They are eager to learn more and are trained to blend research, analysis, and communication skills into their own unique identities.
Our students major and minor in a number of high-skilled areas, and many of our students walk away from Rochester as dual-majors.
