When you decided to enroll at Rochester, you joined a community of more than 100,000 alumni University-wide. Connections between students and alumni are bonds that unite Rochester’s past, present, and future by strengthening traditions and deepening one’s pride in the University. The Student and Alumni Engagement Team, within the Office of Alumni Relations, creates and supports efforts that bring together our current and future alumni (you!).
If your club or council has been in existence for a while, there are likely alumni who, as past members of the group, might like to keep up-to-date with the current activities. Your group’s alumni not only have been where you are now, but have also acquired knowledge and experience since graduating that might be helpful to you and your organization. We can help you:
- Communicate with your alumni by email or newsletter
- Invite alumni to campus events
- Involve alumni as speakers or panelists—in-person or virtually (i.e. via Skype)
- Host a student organization-alumni event

Student Alumni Ambassadors (SAAs)
SAAs are positive, responsible, and enthusiastic students that represent their fellow student body within the alumni community. If you enjoy meeting new people, expanding your personal and professional networks, and want to develop leadership skills, we encourage you to apply.
