This 2-credit course is designed for students interested in pursuing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/college\/rccl\/engaged-learning\/citation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RCCL&#8217;s Citation in Community-Engaged Scholarship<\/a>, a self-designed curriculum weaving academic coursework with community service, culminating in a final capstone project of your choosing.<\/p>\n<p>The class will introduce students to what the Citation is, engage students in contemporary issues in Rochester, and help students plan their proposals for an ongoing capstone.<\/p>\n<p>Students interested in this course should be service-minded, passionate about social justice, interested in learning about the current issues faced by the Rochester community and want to work towards breaking the campus bubble.<\/p>\n<p>To sign up, fill out the <a href=\"https:\/\/podio.com\/webforms\/18518982\/1246216\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">interest form<\/a> or email Alissa Clark (alissa.clark@rochester.edu).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For the first time, CAS 202: Introduction to Community-Engaged Scholarship, will be offered in the fall 2018 semester!
