The master’s degree program in Photographic Preservation and Collections Management (PPCM), jointly conducted by the University of Rochester and George Eastman Museum, is the is the premier program in the United States dedicated to the study of the photograph as an object and the historic, theoretical, and cultural significance of photographic images. Students come to our program to gain the skills they need to properly care for photographic collections.
