LITERARY TRANSLATION STUDIES at the University of Rochester offers programs for students who are fluent in English, highly proficient in at least one other language, and are excellent writers.
Students in the program work alongside publishing professionals and learn about acquisitions, editing, marketing, and more by interning with Open Letter, the University’s literary imprint.
Our programs in translation studies are further enhanced by Three Percent, an online resource for international literature, as well as a plethora of on-campus readings, interviews, and other events.
