SMD Masters Degree Commencement Ceremony

Academic attire is required for graduates participating in the Commencement ceremony. Candidates can purchase regalia at the Medical Center Bookstore beginning March 2014.
Only candidates who have returned their participation card to the Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs Office may participate in the ceremony. Masters Degree candidates must arrive at the Kilbourn Hall Green Room no later than 11:30 a.m. to allow sufficient time for robing and assembly of processional columns. Candidates will be lined up in alphabetical order according to their degree (MA, MPH, and MS).
At 12:00 p.m., all candidates are to be lined up in their proper columns, ready to begin the procession.
Assistance to the Disabled
Accommodations, at the student's request, can be made for persons with disabilities by contacting the Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs Office at (585) 273-1620. Seating will be available in Kilbourn Hall and must be reserved by April 25, 2014. Ushers will be on hand to direct guests to the designated seating areas.
Tickets are not required for this ceremony but please indicate the number of your guests attending this event on the reception response card.
Parking is available for this event in the East End Garage on the corner of East and Scio Streets.
A University of Rochester photographer will photograph all degree recipients as they receive their diploma. After the ceremony, you may take additional photos with your guests at the reception.

Things to do after the Ceremony and Reception
A visit to the Memorial Art Gallery or the annual Lilac Festival is highly recommended after the Ceremony and Reception.
