University flags on the Eastman Quadrangle and near the entrance of Strong Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department will be lowered on Thursday, June 6, for Michael Jacob Adams, an associate professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences, who died on April 27. Adams joined the University faculty in 1997.

Free cancer screening program partners with SkyHope PALS
The Cancer Services Program of the Finger Lakes Region (CSP-FLR) is partnering with SkyHope PALS to provide free medical and compassion flights for patients diagnosed with cancer. The CSP-FLR is a grant-funded program that works with approximately 200 healthcare providers throughout the Finger Lakes region to provide free colon, breast, and cervical cancer screenings and diagnostic care for eligible, uninsured individuals.
