Medical Center experts offer a guide for adult children to support parents as they age, including the differences between care options, signs to look for that may indicate a higher level of care is needed, and steps you can take to make informed, compassionate decisions.

Graduate Writing Project writing retreat

The Graduate Writing Project is hosting an in-person writing retreat June 30–July 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily for graduate students from the School of Arts & Sciences and the Hajim School of Engineering & Applied Sciences. Writers can join for the morning (9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.), afternoon (1 to 4 p.m.), or full-day sessions. This structured retreat offers time to write, community support, coffee and snacks to fuel your productivity, and the option to meet one-on-one with a Writing Consultant. Register online.

Take a class in Summer Session B

The second Summer Session begins on Monday, June 30, in the School of Arts & Sciences and the Hajim School of Engineering & Applied Sciences. Classes run through Friday, August 1, with online and in-person options available across several different subjects. Find courses and registration instructions.

Attend a free screening of Art for Everybody, an award-winning documentary that peels back the layers of the façade of artist Thomas Kinkade.
