The 2021–22 Ball Dissertation Fellows have been announced
The Ball Fellowship is awarded from a memorial fund established by the family and friends of Raymond N. Ball, a Rochester alumnus who served the University as treasurer, vice president, trustee, and chairman of the board. This fellowship is a highly competitive award in recognition of a person’s outstanding potential as a scholar in the humanities, economics, or business administration fields. The fellows for 2021–22 are Stephen Johnson, a PhD candidate in musicology, and Stephanie Venturino, a PhD candidate in music theory.
‘Lunch and Listen’ program for Medical Center staff and clinical workers goes to the movies
The next “Lunch and Listen” concert from Eastman Performing Arts Medicine and the Office of Patient Experience takes place today, Tuesday, June 22, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT. Medical Center staff and clinical workers can join via Zoom and call in to make requests. After the success of the May 4 Star Wars–themed concert, pianist Daniel Kuehler ’20E (DMA) returns with a program full of favorite movie melodies.
