Tasty Tuesdays is open to all students, faculty, and staff. Visit Wilson Quad today, July 25, between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to check out Le Petit Poutine, Tuscan Pizza, and Rob’s Kabobs. The last Tasty Tuesday of the summer takes place on August 1.
Final July carillon concert
The July Carillon Concert Series concludes on Wednesday, July 26, at 6:30 p.m. Concerts are free and open to the public. Listen from the Eastman Quadrangle outside Rush Rhees Library.
Registration open for The Disabled Body in Modern Medicine and Culture
Open to all undergraduate and graduate students and faculty and staff learners, The Disabled Body in Modern Medicine and Culture (MHB 480/480U) is offered in fall 2023 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. This course will explore different perspectives on disability through works of modern culture, primarily through literature, television, and film. The class also offers basic instruction in academic writing for the humanities. Register in UR Student and email the Department of Health Humanities and Bioethics with questions.
The Memorial Art Gallery’s Joan Lyons exhibition is on display until August 13. In addition to her work in photography, Lyons was the founding director of Rochester’s Visual Studies Workshop Press, which she led from 1972–2004.
