New housing option for fifth-year and full-time master’s students
Undergraduate students in their fifth year (Take-5, E5, or students who need additional semesters to complete their degree) and master’s degree students in full-time programs are eligible to apply to live in Valentine Hall, which offers a residence hall option for students needing one- or two-year housing who prefer not to lease a traditional apartment in University graduate housing or off-campus. Contract terms are available August 1, January 2, or June 1, depending on which date works best with your program. Contracts are for full terms and housing fees are billed directly to the student account. Find more information and apply for Valentine housing here.
Last ‘Paws for Stress Relief’ of the semester

The International Services Office (ISO) is hosting a virtual town hall today for University community members to learn about US immigration topics, international travel, and available resources. To join a town hall, you must register via the link below using your official University email. You may submit anonymous questions in advance and ask questions anonymously during the town hall.

University of Rochester Research Repository workshop
The University of Rochester Research Repository (URRR) is the University’s own data and scholarship repository, maintained by the University Libraries. URRR hosts most file types and accepts objects such as scholarly works, data, code, and videos. Everyone in the University community receives 10 GB of storage, and each submission undergoes a curation process, preservation, indexing in major search engines, and receives a digital object identifier.
If you’d like to share your research and preserve it, visit URRR and make a deposit. To learn about URRR, register for a virtual workshop on April 30 from 2 to 3 p.m. For more information on what URRR offers and help preparing and submitting your content, contact University Libraries.
