The Well-Being for Life and Learning Training is designed to equip faculty and staff with knowledge and tools to support student mental health, resilience, and success. In-person and synchronous sessions are paused this summer, but you can explore five asynchronous modules now available on MyPath.
Know your 60-day window for benefits and life events
If you’ve experienced a major life event such as marriage, divorce, or the birth of a child, you may be eligible to adjust your benefits without waiting for open enrollment. Remember: you have 60 days from the event to make changes. Review the full list of life events in the qualifying event matrix.

Spring tuition reimbursement reminder
To receive tuition reimbursement on time, upload your proof of tuition cost, proof of payment, and proof of successful course completion in myURHR Workday no later than 90 days following course completion. To upload your documents to your application, log into Workday, click on “Benefits and Pay” on the homepage, and then on “Employee Tuition Reimbursement Application” under “Suggested Links.” Find more information here.

Play in a kickball league
Registration is open for a recreational kickball league through the URMC Fitness Center that plays at Genesee Valley Park starting in June. Registration is individual, but feel free to encourage coworkers or University friends to participate as well.
Named one of our 12 essential experiences at Rochester, the Genesee River Trail is a 24-mile stretch that extends from the Erie Canal to Lake Ontario, offering access to waterfalls, parks, and landmarks—a scenic escape for walkers, runners, cyclists, or nature enthusiasts.
University employees looking to hike this summer can join Well-U and Roc Personal Training for several group hikes at notable spots in the area. Find dates and register here.
Looking to learn more about biking? Members of the University community can attend 15-minute “Wheels on Wednesday” classes offered by the Department of Transportation and Logistics.
