The newly announced Golisano Children’s Alliance, funded by entrepreneur, philanthropist, and civic leader Tom Golisano, marks a major milestone in advancing pediatric healthcare. The alliance will unite 10 children’s hospitals across eight states to share expertise, expand specialized services, and ensure that families have access to exceptional care as close to home as possible.

To maintain the University’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct, faculty, staff, and student employees are required to complete the annual University Conduct at Work training. Medical Center employees already met this requirement with the Annual Mandatory In-service training earlier this year. The training—available in MyPath starting Monday, November 3—covers key University and workplace policies and expectations, including the code of conduct, acceptable use of information technology and resources, confidentiality statement, information security, and minimum standards for programs for minors. To recognize their outstanding contributions, three individuals will be honored with awards for mentoring junior faculty, mentoring trainees in basic science, and mentoring trainees in clinical programs.
