Reminder to complete University Conduct at Work Training by January 31

All faculty, staff, and student employees are required to complete the University Conduct at Work Training in MyPath by January 31. Medical Center employees have already fulfilled this requirement with the AMI training and do not need to complete the module again.

The training reinforces the University’s commitment to the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct and confirms your understanding of key policies, including the Code of Conduct, confidentiality, information security, and the use of University resources. For technical support, email mypathsupport@rochester.edu.

Genesee Staff Council nominations due January 20

Voting takes place January 30 through February 13. Email GSC@rochester.edu with questions.

Nominations are being accepted for vacant seats in Central Finance and Administration, School of Nursing, and Warner School of Education & Human Development. Thomas Davidson and Corey Clayton, Operations Mechanics

Each week, HR shines a spotlight on a faculty or staff member who has been recognized as a UR Star. Thomas Davidson and Corey Clayton, operations mechanics with University Facilities and Services at the Medical Center, were recognized for demonstrating excellence.

“During these last few months of being short-staffed at Strong West, Tom and Corey managed a significant workload, covering ongoing projects, responding to every call-in, keeping up with regular service maintenance and PMs, all while simultaneously ensuring we were prepared for the critical Joint Commission survey. To handle this volume and variety of work, especially with just two people, is truly remarkable. Your professionalism and willingness to step up have made a great difference to our operations and success. Thank you for demonstrating what true teamwork and dedication look like.”
